As part of our ongoing commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility, we have been looking at ways in which we can use our professional skills on a pro bono basis to help small businesses that have been impacted upon by Covid-19.

The pub and hospitality sector continues to be severely affected by the restrictions and our latest success was achieving retrospective planning permission for the temporary retention of this marquee in the beer garden at the Thomas Egerton pub in Bolton. Once the restrictions are lifted, this will provide much needed additional covered space (particularly needed in Bolton!) that will allow more people to be seated whilst adhering to social distancing rules.

Let’s hope they can get open again soon so this hugely popular community pub can continue to do what it does best – bring people together!
