Wailun joined Hive Land & Planning as a Graduate Planning and Development Surveyor. Prior to joining Hive, Wailun graduated in July 2025 with a degree in BSc Planning and Real Estate before working at a planning consultant firm, where he gained experience in the preparation and submission of planning applications.
Wailun adds both planning and development expertise to the projects he works on and is currently working towards obtaining chartered status as a Surveyor specialising in Planning and Development.
Wailun has assisted the preparation and submission of several medium-sized Purpose-Built Student Accommodation planning applications across London and is involved in multiple planning and development schemes as a member of Hive.
As a graduate member of Hive, Wailun strengthens the team’s capacity in preparing and processing complex planning applications, alongside supporting the co-ordination of multi-disciplinary teams.
