Julie is a development consultant with over 20 years’ experience working in commercial and residential development, having qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2003. She brings strong commercial acumen and a delivery‑focused approach to bringing sites forward.
Prior to joining Hive, Julie built her career working on major mixed‑use, retail and residential schemes in the UK and overseas. This included working on the Abu Dhabi government backed Masdar City project, as well as leading development and leasing teams and plans for large‑scale schemes in the UK and Spain. Her international experience has given her a broad understanding of different development models, delivery mechanisms and markets.
Julie is particularly passionate about sustainability and the role development can play in creating long‑term environmental, social and economic value. At Hive, she works across development strategy and delivery, leading and coordinating multidisciplinary teams and working closely with local authorities, landowners and development partners to progress complex sites in the most timely and commercially viable way.
